Happy National Teachers’ Day!
National Teachers’ Day is May 2, and we are excited to celebrate our history by honoring this special day. In 1937, Educators Credit Union was founded in Racine and was known then as Racine Teachers Credit Union. Because there was no place for teachers to save or borrow money at fair and reasonable rates, they formed a financial cooperative – a credit union. Today, our members are not just teachers, but hold just about any career you can think of!
In honor of the teachers that founded Educators Credit Union over eight decades ago, we are thrilled to participate in National Teachers’ Day. Be sure to follow our Instagram @myEducatorsCU where we will celebrate educators across southeastern Wisconsin.
